AC Distribution Board

Solar AC Distribution Board (ACDB) is an essential component in solar power systems, especially for SPV (Solar Photovoltaic) installations. ACDB panels combine the output AC power (three‑phase and single‑phase) from solar inverters into a single distribution point, ensuring safe and efficient distribution of power to loads and downstream equipment.

The panels are fabricated from 1.6 mm or 2 mm thick CRCA sheet steel, providing rugged and durable performance. They are available with options such as transparent polycarbonate IP65 enclosures for smaller rooftop applications, as well as metal enclosures suitable for floor, wall, or stand mounting configurations. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, these panels feature appropriate IP protection ratings to effectively withstand dust and moisture.

The panels come equipped with a comprehensive set of protection devices, including Surge Protection Devices (SPD), MCCBs, fuses, isolators, and MCBs, to safeguard against surges, overloads, and short circuits. They also feature energy meters to monitor key parameters such as current, voltage, and power factor. Internal wiring is meticulously arranged with fine ferrules, clear identification markings, and lugs, ensuring ease of maintenance and enhanced safety.

The quality processes typically include visual inspection of panels and components, functional checks of protection devices, verification of wiring and ferrules, insulation resistance checks where applicable, and ensuring compliance with both mechanical and electrical parameters.

Documentation and drawings are provided based on specific project requirements and may include detailed General Arrangement Drawings, Single Line Diagrams, and a complete Bill of Materials (BOM). In addition, panel notes and technical specifications, along with internal wiring diagrams, are prepared to ensure accurate installation, operation, and maintenance of the system. Custom documentation can also be developed and supplied upon request to meet client or project-specific needs.
